My house will be a house of prayer for all people.
About Us
Immanuel Temple Seventh-day Adventist Church has been serving the Oakland California community for over 100 years.
We are a part of the world-wide Seventh-day Adventist Church and share the goal of connecting people to an abundant life in Jesus Christ and preparing them for His return.
Worship Together
We join together corporately every Wednesday and Sabbath to worship and exalt our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. We serve our Church and community, through the power of the Holy Spirit, with Courageous Kindness, Passionate Hard Work, a Servant’s Heart, by Loving and Serving with Joy - Never Compromising our Values.
We are a Church located in the heart of our community where we, through the Holy Spirit, can:
Communicate with our neighbors
Sympathize with them in their joys and pain
Were we can meet their needs
Win their confidence
And we point them to our source of strength, Jesus Christ

Free Dental Vision and Medical Clinic
On Sunday, October 29, our church was changed into a clinic to provide services to our community. We had lots of help from volunteers: dentist, oral surgeons, optometrist, Medial doctors, nurses, cooks, registration, clinic managers, health educators, barber, massage therapist, ministers, Bible workers, church members and friends.
Equipment was provided by Life and Health Ministries, and Dental services by Bancroft Dental Care, San Leandro, CA.
Over 80 volunteers helped us to make this a very special day for our church and our community.
